This is the final post in the series on dealing with challenging circumstances in this economic season, particularly for those that are victims of redundancy. In the series I've referenced a lot of personal disciplines and daily or weekly practises, and I want to conclude by pointing you in the direction of a keynote presentation by Hal Elrod, the author of the book “The Miracle Morning”, partly because a number of his concepts mirror those I’ve been talking about.

But in particular, I want to emphasize a technique to counter negativity that he talks about in the keynote, which I think is profoundly simple, and simply profound- the 5minute rule.

(if you’re short on time, watch from 29.25- it’s absolute gold!!)

And lastly, if you are going through hell at the moment… don’t stop!!
